Greetings gentlemen, Here are some pictures my friend took at the National USMC Museum. They are 1/1 scale dioramas depicting Marines during their finest moments. Very impressive and authentic looking. The mannequins were cast from actual marines and look very realistic. Marines landing on Tarawa beachhead Close up of marines. Greetings Victor,
Yes, its in Quantico VA. The museum is located just outside the Quantico Marine Corps Base. I have yet to go there and see the exhibits for my self and take more pictures. They say that there is a simulated marksmanship area where you can use various USMC issue weapons and try your skill. The weapons are supposed to be pneumatically powered to simulate recoil and there's a screen where targets will appear for you to shoot.
