I'd like to share one book from my collection is: Reports of General McArthur- The Campaign of McArthur in the Pacific. Volume I Prepared by his General Staff Library of Congress catalog card number: 66-60005 Printed 1966
I rescued this book from a local Public School library disposal for $ 1.00 Its sad that libraries have to "dispose" of very important books some of which may be out print or rare. So do check out local libraries or public school libraries for such "auctions" or weekend disposals.
The book is very informative, it has the field officers reports, maps, reconaissance maps, topo style mapping, accurate names of towns and most important of all the names of most if not all Philippine Army, air Corps, Navy Officers, Filipino Gurrilla leaders working with the US ARMY during World War 2.
I believe this is still available at the library of congress and I'm curious as what the volume II contains.

How about scanning and posting some maps and photos that you find interesting. Thanks
