About a week ago we had a great reunion with my long lost cousins who are the kids of my late uncle George...No contact whatsoever for 20 years. George Adam Ortega and Courtney Ortega Walker A cousin in Vegas found them out and connected through facebook. The girl (Courtney) was born at Fort Belvoir, Virginia. George Adam was born in Los Alamos, New Mexico....true Army brats! George Adam joined the U.S. Army and served in the first Gulf War as an airborne engineer, so the family tradition is alive and well after all. He now works as a private contractor for the U.S. Navy. Courtney is now married and works as a vet at a zoo and animal sanctuary. Like father, like son. Here's an interesting drawing of uncle George which my cousins showed to us, drawn in Japan during R&R from service in Korea. Cheers at the reunion!

Congratulations on finding relatives. There's always a warm fuzzy whenever I hear something like that...
Hey Ray... why are you wearing British instead of German like the rest? And who's extra arm is that with what looks like woodland camo BDU's? ;D

The extra arm is another of our Vegas cousins who hosted the reunion. Frank was with us too as an "honorary cousin", well actually we also went to a wholesaler's convention that was in town and helped ourselves to some wonderfully cheap BDUs from a "Sturm" booth. We were quite happy with our shopping putsch we decided to celebrate at a bavarian beerhall, bratwurst and all.
