We have a Spanish-American War/Philippine-American War event at Camp Reynolds, Angel Island, in San Francisco Bay on Saturday and Sunday, October 23-24, 2010. Camp Reynolds and Angel Island were a main embarking post for U.S. troops leaving for the Philippines in 1898-1902, and the island was a quarantine camp for all troops returning from the Philippines.
In addition, we have a "Guarding the Gate" event Saturday and Sunday, August 14-15, with living history soldiers and civilians from the Civil War through WWII.
