Sorry Philip I didnt bring a camera. Saturday I was with the 34th ID and Sunday I went as a Scout more members came down for Sunday, but no big crowds like Saturday Donald did alot of filming of us, which was alot of fun we even did some Common Wealth The Japanese guys Otsumi and Russell were in the filming and in one of the scenes that Joe wanted to do was a Japanes bayoneting a GI during a Death March scene and Otsumi broke down in tears...he felt really bad doing that scene.

I forgot the name of the PS vet who was there Saturday "Dr. " Well he made a comment to me in private...thanking us for what we are or we were doing. He said to me in a manner like...without our living history he and his fellow soldiers would just be a memory. He is very proud of us. Also Sunday General Ortega was there too. A passerby commented on how well the sign was made "USAFFE.." and I said that the was made by a guy named Philip Garcia. Rudy kept downing those frothy cappachinos.

I did not have the opportunity to thank Gil for making the effort to bring the gear out and set up the display with the help of Rudy and Donald. Gil was busy with PHILIPPINE DISASTER RELIEF ORGANIZATION (PeDRO) collecting relief goods from the community to be sent to the Philippines to help out with the flood victims the whole week. Here are some images. I wonder how much he had last night? Bataan Veteran Arrival Honors. Col. Ortega visits Sunday afternoon. Film maker Donald records scene with Japanese Army re-enactors. Surrender scene Dead POW on the wire. The USAFFE about to surrender their arms.

Russell and Otsume (or "Ots") were great. Ots really felt bad for doing the bayoneting scene...wonder if Donald got it on film cause Ots wasnt acting at all as he was crying
