To all who read this Forum: I want to take time and let all know, that the man who started this Pinoyhistory Forum is having a birthday today on the eastern time zone or tomorrow if someone reads it tonight. The time and energy that Victor has put into this is beyond what I could ever do. I have read topics or replies from all over the world and it seems from every state in the Union. It is incredible. I am still in awe how Victor keeps us abreast and how he gets people together for information on the history of the Philippines. Victor) if I was in a foxhole or on a horse charging Japanese tanks I would love you by my side. So let's hear it from you out there in the world>> Happy Birthday Victor!! You are the guy that influenced us in PS re-enacting here in Hong Kong and you also showed us the legacy of the Phil. Scouts.
You supported us since day 1 ... and we will never forget that.

Happy Birthday, brother!
Not to get all sappy on your birthday, but this forum has come to mean a lot to me since finding it last month. I grew up a Filipino-American kid in the 'burbs of Chicago, and never knew anyone into the Filipino WWII experience. My Grandfather never talked about it, because so much of his family were killed. So this forum is a way to connect to my heritage, and I sincerely thank you for that...I hope to reenact with you all some day, and thank you in person.
