Finally, we got something going. Together with some FAS members we have set a date for all WWII Impressionist to meet. Almost all are airsofters and maybe have not yet been introduced to reenacting. I myself is still an airsofter but is hoping to be a "Reenactor" someday. This is now my opportunity to introduce my PS Impression and hope to share the passion for an impression much closer to home ( A lot are doing German Impression and even try to speak the language ;D ) For my part, allow me to post my humble PS Impression and forgive me for the poorly done photos taken by my daughter at our attic ( Also, the hat cord is yellow and not the blue one for the infantry )

Very nice impression bulikiti2
Only minor corrections are chin strap hook/buckle should be worn on your eft cheek. What is your DI pin? If it's infantry hat chin strap worn at the back of the head.
Do you have the WWI type canteen? Can see in the photos. Overall great work on putting it together. And a BAR too! Are you based in the Philippines right?

Legionnaire, I am not sure of the correct pin on the Campaign hat. It is suppose to be an infantry insignia but intended for the service cap. Not sure if it is the same thing. The cavalry hat cord is intended for my next impression. Also, my canteen is the one with the aluminum cap ( did not show in the pics ). I am from Cainta, Rizal. Veevee, The shirt is from WPG ( with alterations on the size ), the pants from GAP, shoes from Marikina. Szadipoland, Thanks for the nice comments Thank you all for the corrections. I will work on that on my next pics. Want to do a "Captain Pajota" guerilla impression after my 26th Cavalry. I want to give credit to the Captain as the key to the success of the "Great Raid". Question : Can I use the wool puttees for my 26th cavalry Impression?

Hi bulikiti2,
For Infantry it was the 57th or the 45 Infantry regt. DI pin on the campagin hat. For cavalry it was the 26th Cav.
For cavalry enlistedman 's footwear it the high laced Cavalry boots. The wool puttees were really for the infantry before leggings wee issued.
Wow next PSHS reenactment event in Manila I will get in touch with you when I visit again.

Well done...Good start you're getting there. With regards to Airsoft and WWII, it's big here and the Chinese/Japanese Manufacturers seems to be listening to the demands of the players. www.ww2airsoft.org.uk/Article from: www.afra.org.uk/news.aspxNEW Living History Project "We are looking to set up a Living History Weekend in December. This will be in the format of a private battle but with a sensational twist. Our friends and allies at Comrades In Arms have pioneered the [glow=red,2,300]WWII Airsoft genre[/glow] and we feel it is time we incorporated it into Living History/Private Battles. AFRA is calling upon ALL aspects of Living Historians to contact us and get involved. You do not have to be an AFRA member - You just have to want to fit in with what we aim to do (although AFRA membership can't hurt! It means we will all be under the same insurance etc.) AFRA wants to hear from people who want to set up and run Field Hospitals (German and US/British) People who want to set up and run a proper field kitchen serving meals to the troops out at the fornt (German and US/British) People who want to run a HQ PROPERLY and organise troop actions, oversee feeding and resupply, transport and re-inforcement etc. (US/British joint command and German) People who want to bring vehicles and operate them in concert with the requirements of the scenario - jeeps and kubels for recconaissance and resupply, chow runs, bringing the wounded in etc. Armoured cars for support and interdiction, Tanks! yes! Tanks! and also we want COMBATANTS. WE are looking at an Ardennes scenario in heavy forested terrain..... We are looking at people living out in DECEMBER using tentage and period equipment. We are experienced at these things and Health and Safety will be paramount. Your attendance fees will be used to hire the venue and to pay for the food and its providers, large vehicle transport as well as sundry items and props such as straw, firewood and other enhancements necessary for a good event. We want very select correspondants to cover this photographically from both perpectives and we also want this to be a starting point for a whole new era of Living History events to take us well into the 21st Century. What do you need to do? You need to take the same care and attention to detail you always do. You need to bring the correct kit when the Standing Orders are published and you need to acquire an airsoft WWII weapon firing to accepted FPS along with some suitable eye protection. Then sign up. We have places for 300 combatants (nominal 150 per side)." I forgot to tell you, I'm also a skirmisher. www.ace-brigade.org.uk/

I guess so. The manufacturers seem to take notice of the demand for WWII Airsoft. In places where there is restricted gun ownership, airsoft AEGs and GBBs will fill the void. P.I. airsofters still has a vague concept of Living History but with the growing popularity of WWII airsofting, what we need now is the proper guidance and encouragement from you guys so we could move to the next level. The first WWII airsoft meet that we have initiated is the first step. Keeping the flame alive is the biggest challenge.

That's very kind of you Veevee. You are still very Filipino in your values. But the seller has already agreed to send it to my sister in California. Thank you very much for the offer.
