Thanks JNModeller.......................I was expecting that my Tacoma Branch Scout will show up for the event but none of them did. So nobody is presenting the WW2 Scouts. I did talk about it to our meeting about having a WW2 Scouts living history group before but they kind of brass it off they are more into fund raing dinner/dance and scholarship program. I guess nobody in that group would like to spend money on those gears and uniform. I do the Philippine-American War Scouts because that's part of my lineage and nobody knows that the Scouts used to wear the old dark blue flannel shirt. About that Tamaraw/Carabao patch on my shoulder is not period correct I just got that Idea from the Buffalo Soldier get together here in Tacoma. Everyone was wearing thier Old Cavalry Uniforms with black Stetson hat with WW2/Vietnam Era patches on thier shoulder.

Hi Art,
keep up the spirit of the scouts with your reenacting. Maybe you can educate and remind some of the younger sons and daughters to join you as WWII scouts or Angels of Bataan nurses.
You also have to lead by example by wearing the WWII scouts as Pinoys are basically followers and how it helps promote the legacy of the scouts in events. It's a lot of hard work and dedication involved as you know.
