More Philippine AFVs Guess what the tank in the middle is? One of the "old boys" reunited with an old friend. the tank is an m41 walker bulldog, used by the phil armored division during vietnam era, now a museum relic or just a monument sadly most of the tanks here in the philippines becomes relic. the stuart tanks used by the philippine scouts is a stuart m5 honey type like the once used by the british during afrika campaign. not m5a1. the tanks of the p.s. were recycled or used by the japanese for recon or patrols bec the stuart m5 tank is small enough to do the duties and gives a hard punch with its 3.7mm gun..

The Stuart in the picture is an M5 I think... Still a great photo opportunity to take with the Scout reenactors. It would have been perfect if it were the M3 but having an M5 there was waay too cool not to take pictures with I wish I was there

HI! 26, ive change my name to the real identity.neweis yup being in a tank is really cool my last ride was 2 years ago in marikina alot of simba v150 etc for just recruitment purpose. i see your a modeller also. that's a really cool collection of heavy and medium tanks you have.most of my tanks are mediium and light tanks and im also collecting the tanks the ija used here in the philippines.i also love making dioramas. im a member of the ipms philippines bert anido chapter.a year ago there was a rumor of a stuart tank being pulled out from the pasig river near lawton by the mmda flood control group. no pics were to be found but hope that its true. and hope we can chek it out and i bet if thats true theres a posibility that its an m5 stuart like in the pic posted.some newsreel shows m5 and hellcats were used in jones bridge theres a film shwing a priest tank firing at point blank ija mg nest in lawton.

sir rudy, the pic is not showing up..hope we can view it.. im planning a p.s. climbing a abandoned chi ha tank that where used here by the 3rd ija tank regiment or maybe 7th ija.. does the p.s. reached the san miguel bulakan engagement more like a tag of war on the line of defence???.. i saw alot of pic about the battle in san miguel where alot of japanese tanks were either k.o or abandoned on the rice paddies bec our defence more like have a flanking defensive move. well, hope i can get all the info accurate so that i can deal with the diorama. i usually build compact or vignette types of dioramas...wish me luck!(^-^)

sir rudy, can you help me about the info if the p.s manage to defend the san miguel, bulakan line??? or if you have any info about the p.s. attacking the ija armored units? tnx po!
