Milspec said he doesn't remember seeing any Philippine flags... but that was a long time ago before 9/11 and he spent most of the time in the WW2 section of the museum.

I can ask my cousin... he just graduated from there. Tom, congratulations to your cousin. It would be great to see some photos of him/or her in uniform. My late brother graduated from there too in the class of 79'. Did he join the surface fleet, nav air, submarines or went "corps"? About the flags, if they're not in the museum, my guess is that they might be found at the mess hall, just like they do at West Point. Military tradition usually places captured enemy standards in places where warriors gather for a feast, sort of like so many deer antlers in a drinking pub.

Hello gents,
Just heard from him - the museum is being renovated currently but the times that he was there he only noticed the WW2 flags. I was mistaken slightly - he's graduating this year.
So there just MIGHT be time to ask him about the mess hall.
He's going to be sailing with the golden dolphins ;-) - the silent service. It's pretty cool actually, his dad was a Commodore in the Philippine Navy and is actually my grandpa's brother - which actually makes him my uncle. Thing is, he's like 6 or so years younger than me so it was kinda weird growing up. He was a roly poly little kid but he's really become the very model of a modern naval officer since the last time I saw him.
Salutes, Tom
