Thanks Guys!
That's a overwhelming welcome.
Philip, the December event is a big historical event, so I myself am preparing to gear up. Col. Aguilar has invited many groups to make the reenactment really successful. I know most of you have read the concept. I'm in charge for the jeep pool, hopefully 3 early jeeps would be available for the Bataan peiod.
Am glad to hear that you're coming!
Hey Lawrence, where are you in LAguna? I'm in Liliw.
I have a friend in New York Vic, his name sis Dan Dayot from Bacolod City. He's been helping me in sourcing out the stuffs, thru ebay , flea market, and military shows. Like me, he's a jeep enthusiast and phil scout reenactor.
Regards! Alvin

Hi Alvin,
I hope you have enough guys doing USAFFE period uniforms?
Early war jeeps with 30 cal watercooled Mg's on them. I hope you guys can also have a early 1941 Dodge.
It would be great if you had WWII Bataan vets riding on them during the parade. mention that to Resty.

Awesome guys. Just found out yesterday about this website. I am from Albay also but has settled in Manila. I Just got back from bicol today and had a lot of fun playing airsoft with my friends in Legaspi. I am donning a US WWII M1943 uniform, Thompson and a BAR 1918 AEG. It would be great to be a reenactor also. How do I get in touch with you guys?

welcome bulikiti2,
You can also reach the BNK Buhay Nang Kasaysayan Manila based reenactment group. Pedro Javier is one of their members. pjavi@amkor.com
Alvin's group I believe is the Military vehicles preservation group and focuses on Philippine WWII. Early and late war.
This is a great hobby and it helps promote the legacy of our Filipino heroes and warriors.

Check EBAY! ;D Kelly helmet. Lots of them there. The chin strap should be the canvass type. Bidding gets quite expensive. or repro liners and chin straps. pflco.com/militaria.htm#helmithope this helps Philip

We have some Belgian helmets of the same pattern for active re-enacting. Can be modified to represent actual helmet for display purposes. The ones we have here in California have large liner sizes. $35 each plus shipping. Let us know if you need some. Frank Bellow is a website that "reconditions" helmets. www.toppots.net/main.php?do=clientproduct&action=home&id=420&cid=
