It looks good , as Vic has added his recomemdations, try and have the shoemaker follow those recomemdations as much as possible.
If you are going to spend on them, have them do it right and accurate as much as possible! The toe cap is very obvious characteristic of the US Army garrison boots. And have it in a darker shade of leather. It is usually in the OX blood color.

BAYONET INC. has the British Mk 1 helmet shell (no suspension or chin strap), for $19.95. The chinstrap is available for $1.00 There is a supplier who rebuilds the suspension for these helmets, but I cannot recall at the moment, but will do some research to find this vendor. This would be an economical way to obtain a period type of helmet, without spending the money for a serviceable original. Their website is: bayonetinc.com

The Belgian Helmet is similar to the British one with elasticated webbing chin- strap. My Brit. liner is also webbing dressed with paint or mock leather, (now worn off in places). London price was £25. Steel gage would all be the same.
