We just concluded a successful encampment at the Texas State Railroad (TSR) in Palestine, Texas as part of the 11th Annual Armed Forces Weekend, May 16-17, 2008. Regards, Mick

Excellent photos and impressions Mick. There was a comment on one of the photos about people not realizing there was even a Burma campaign, how true. It's great that you could all teach a little history to others.
Keep up the great work guys, it's really amazing stuff.

Hey Kalbs,
Its taken three years to say thanks ... so "thanks" mate!
We've re-organized unit since our Encampment/Photo Shoot at Camp Anderson (2008) and will make the 2012 reenacting season our re-start for 2nd KOSB in Burma.
Unfortuntately the Camp Anderson location is gone for good (sold) so were looking for another location for a reenactment in Texas.

Here in UK there's a group aptly called " Forgotten Tommies "....
In a European Theater , DDay..Dominated.. World of reenacting it's really nice to see groups trying to teach people of this " Forgotten Tommies "....
Looking forward on your 2012 dsplay....
