Greetings!!! Joined up to get some info. I recently acquired a pair of M1931 boots like those above. I read further about the laces were 6 feet long. I need to know where I can acquire the proper replacement laces.
Appreciate the help

I'm having a bit of confusion on how to use your boards. I thought I had answered your reply but I guess not. Thanks the info

I actually don't know what the regulation length was. If you're looking for authentic laces with the old correct material and length, then these laces may not be what you want. However I just took a chance on it while looking for better reproductions, and it didn't look bad at all visually. It was long enough for my boots, and thin enough to approximate the thin original ones. Its color shade was very similar as well.

Thanks....I ordered what you are using in a 96 in.
Another question, trouser belts used by the cavalry during the 30s, were they cotton web with open buckle or were they of leather?
