Fantastic and impressive reenactment group you have there! WOW! very detailed presentation and complete gear. I am not familiar with Swiss Amry uniforms and gear but from the photos posted it looks like your group has all the complete equipments.
Did they have and use pack mules for equipment transport for the Swiss mountains?
Is that a maxim MG? Even that is an impressive collection you have for your group!

Hello and thanks. Yes we have the equipment 100% complet. The mules in the Swiss Army are since the late 1990s History. The MG is a real Maxim. The first Version introduced 1898 in the Swiss Army. This is the 1911 Version.

Normaly we do 1st US Inf. Div. On the Pics we do the Hawaiian Divison in 1941 Our next pacific Display is 1942 Here a few details from the SWISS Equipment. The Swiss M18 Helmet is NOT a german design ! It is inspired by US WWI Experimantal helmets. The square Shelter half and the Helmet Cover are in German " Splittertarn". www.co.brown.wi.us/museum/WWI_Helmets/Helmet%20Thumbnails/162_4656.htm

Hey Before 1943 the Helmets wher painted in green-gray. Most are later modified with the black sawdust Paint. Original Green Helmets are very rare and expensive. We repainted most of our Helmets. Here a few Pics from the spring Training this year: www.i-a-1915-1918.com/rean_full_4_08_1.htmKlick on " weiter Fotos" for more pics. The Gun is a Swiss Army 47mm Infanteriekanone 35 ( Anti Tank Gun) This Gun was designed from the austrian Gun factory Boehler and saw service in different european countrys, also as WH " Beutegeschütz".
