WOW! great find Milspec!
I remenber seeing those mock battle silent movies passing as the real war footage.
- The US troops in the Trench in Tacloban looks so hookey and staged for the camera!
- The "Filipino" troops look rather tall and well built for asians and have no straw hats at all. It's amazing that Thomas Edison was with them in the middle of the "battle" filming it all.
- As for Aguinaldo's Navy that all I see are river bancas and small barges. Cheap American propaganda film. ;D
Though there are some real docu's shown too. Thanks for posting this.
