Thanks for showing. It looks like a very well made from a production value.
With very clever intermixing with actual documentary footage with their CG zeros blowing up the ships to the accompaniment of a very sentimental film score. Giving a human face to their fanatical Pilot's devotion to the emperor and the destruction of the "Imperialist" faceless invaders of their peaceful island nation.
It looks like another Japanese revionist "POV" film? Possible no background mention on who plunged ASIA in this horrific holocoust. Have they ever heard of surprise Air attack Pearl Harbor and the Philippines?

I would love to do something like that but about those who fought in Bataan. Volunteer actors anyone? Reenactors? (grin)

Very interesting interview with Dan Dizon. When I first saw the first few secs. of it I wonder if they would show anything about Dan Dizon and an interview was shown! I saw that excate same collection and his grand collection of uniform drawings too. Dan had on display in his house when I visited him. Apparently he really has very strong favorable feelings with the Kamikazi pilots. I really wonder what his childhood story was with the pilots in Pampanga. reminds me of the kid (Christian Bale) in the film "Empire of the Sun". I know he was behind the developement of the controversial Kamikazi pilot statue. Do you have any photo of that statue? We use to correspond and he had incredible beautiful penmanship. A artist by tradition. Flatbar you mentioned that you are a close family friend and a Dizon? A bit confusing here. Philip
