Hi Folks!
Posting here to tell you that we are now 90% certain that our February 3 Battle of Manila public reenactment will be pushing through. this will take place at the old PC Cuartel on Sta Elena Street Intramuros. We are recruiting for US Army, Guerilla, IJA/SNLF and Civilians. The reenactment will depict a short section on the Japanese occupation with a Zona operation and then an assault by US Army and Guerilla forces on a Japanese pillbox and building position ending with a desperate banzai charge.
The activity will be held to raise funds for the hero foundation (A foundation that raises funds to pay for the education of orphans of fallen AFP soldiers). Reenactors will need to have uniforms or period civilian clothing. (We can get you in contact with our official tailor). Those interested, please post your names here, and what impression you are wearing for the battle.
We will have 2-3 practice days on site to run through the battle. This will be a scripted event with a LOT of sound effects and Pyro.
