HI I was looking at the picture of one of the re-enactors wearing shorts. So my question, were shorts also authorized for wear by the PS or Philippine Army before the war?

The Philippine Army used Khaki Shorts and short sleeved shirts (with a rather unique collar design) as an official uniform. they used these and Blue dungarees also. Their headgear was the coconut fibre "guinit" helmet. Lots of pics of it in this forum. Some PA divisions such as the 41st also acquired M1917 Kelly helmets..
