From this group only Arcangel Baniares shows up on the list of Philippines Scouts in WWII. I thought these soldiers also needed to be remembered. I found this photo in a bunch of ham radio photos at a junk store and brought it home. I have no connection with anyone in the photo.

S. Sgt. Lino Cabiling in the above photo was found guilty of murdering Sgt. Epifanio Roce with his carbine and court marshalled in 1945 shortly after we dropped the A-bomb on Japan. There is an appeal of his conviction available on line if anyone is interested in reading it.
