Very rare. You will have to monitor ebay and fight for it if it comes up for auction somehow. It can go into the 3 digits.

Hi It must be quite a time before anyone posted but I pray that someone will reply.... I am researching about military nursing and I am quite disturbed by the lack of info about the 12th medical battalion. Its like they were just mentioned and then they vanished in to thin air. Can someone give me some solid sources? You can email them at amirbautista003@gmail.com. Thanks guys!

Attempting to obtain information for a daughter of 2nd Lt. Robert L. Morris, S/N O-890184. He was assigned to the 31st Infantry Regiment and assigned TDY to the 91st Division (PA). The daughter claims Colonel Charles Lowndes Steel nominated the Lt. for the Silver Star Medal. His records were destroyed in the fire at St. Louis leading to no evidence veteran received the medal. Does the 31st list recipients of the Silver Star Medal?

Might be worth inquiring at the 31stInfantry.org site.

A 26 collar disk , most likely for the 26th Infantry. But in the company of these other DUI's, it represents the 26th Cavalry.

I am looking for any information relating to my grandfather, Vincente Ebol Gepte... he was a Capt. that went to West Point and returned to the PI to fight the war... we was caught by the J's a coupel times, escaped, and eventually was beheaded the the J's... In 1996, I and my family were guests of Fidel Ramos, to be presnted the Legion of Honor on my grandfathers behalf. I am looking for anyone that may have served with him, known him from battle, or from behind the scenes fighting the war...he was executed with a couple other people that ran a resistance out of the Cosmopolitan Church of Manila.. My goal is to gather as much info that there is and eventually tell the story of my grandfather...a truly heroic Filipino.. Thanks JW

Hello JW
I would love to communicate with you directly regarding your grandfather. It appears that we share loved ones buried in the Hero's Monument in the North Cemetery. Emilio Grupe was our Great Uncle. In fact, his wife, Alice will be celebrating her 101 birthday the 15th of September and we will all be there to celebrate. I don't wish to go into details on this site, but if you could email me directly I think we have lots to discuss. Thank you
