Are any plans being made to commemorate the end of Korean War 1950-53? In 2yrs time in 2013 it will be 50years past! There will be something very special in Seul you can be sure, but what will take place in the Philippines? where there any Filipino Regts present or did Fils. just enlist as individuals and were assigned to posts across the U.S. forces? Any CMH's awarded to Filipinos?

I've been searching specifically for material on the 10th BCT's role in the relief of surrounded commonwealth forces in the battle of Gloster Hill. Haven't found many leads. I plan to build a diorama of the filipino tankers in their M24 Chaffees.
Colonel Rodrigo, who was with us at this years Bataan commemoration in Capas was present during the Chinese winter offensive. He probably has a huge number of stories.
The Philippines contributed whole units of its armed forces. The force was called PEFTOK. (Philippine Expeditionary Forces to Korea)

Would like to hear if there are still Filipinos alive who went to Korea members of 19th BCT = PEFTOK. Just want to know. Thank you.
