I'd like to though honestly I'm not as fit as I wished I was to play the part. But getting a rayadillo norfolk jacket and blue trousers is in the plan for this coming year. I'm wondering about the cap though... is it a modified Pershing cap? What did del Pilar/Luna wear as their pershing cap type headgear?

Why not post photos of them wearing the different types of head gear you mentioned.

Hi Frank, I meant the hat in this particular popular photo of del Pilar: It doesn't seem to have as wide a crown as the Pershing actually... though the brim looks the same.

Frank, you know a perfect backdrop for a photoshoot like this, Casa Grande.

I thought you might like to know that the BNK group were invited to travel from Manila and Angeles City to take part in the commemoration of the Battle of Tirad Pass. Alas it was canceled for lack of founds! Having never been to the pass before I was really looking forward to it. Gen. Gregorio Del Pilar was a real dandy and had several uniforms. i believe in your photo he was wearing a white jacket and blue trousers, and a gentleman's white felt hat with a black band. He wore rayadillo oftenbut on the morning of the Tirad Pass Battle , he wore a new khaki, uniform with gold braided trim on the jacket and the trousers. It is reasonable to think he wore a khaki cap to match. Happy New Year Everyone!

Happy new year David. That would have been quite an event if it pushed through. Maybe next year.
