Is that a Scout sneaking into a Bataan Angel's tent?

Nice work Guys! Who's the Nurse or Wac with Rudy?
Great set up on the tent. looks roomier too. No PS Div. flag? Did Ray and his brothers join?
Keep up the legacy and spirit, Mabuhay and Philippine Scouts!

Hi Philip:
I was on MP duty and one of the nurse's was out of uniform. Unknown who they were by name. They mentioned they worked for the Fort.
Ray and both brothers showed up late Saturday and brought the Flags. Gil will post more shots and they should show up.
I missed last year and those bamboo poles were cool and new tents roomy for sleeping and storage. Missed your energy again.
Rudy

Hi Rudy, I miss joining you all again and seeing all those weaponry. It's great that Philippine Consul General visited our PS camp and was able to view the set up and who were being honored. I'm proud to see our encampment with its khaki canvass and camo netting still stand out from all the surrounding regulation white tents. Mabuhay ang Battling bastards of Bataan! Hi Joseph, Thanks for appreciating the signs and it is all for the chapter and giving recognition to our Philippine war heroes. It's great that your wife is honoring the "Angels". The unsung heroes of Bataan. Nice to see Ray and his brothers there again. Thanks for posting more pics Joseph! Philip

Nice job Philip. The coconut grove is convincing.
I'd like to ask my friends at Villa Escudero if they would like a display like this once a year perhaps on a January or February weekend.

Thanks! Doing it at Villa Escudero why not! We were palning on doing a photoshoot there with Japanese uniforms too. As I also have a friend who knows the Escuderos quite well and we can get these plans working.
We need a dyed "khaki" canvass tarp and WWII camo netting exactly like what was used for the Fort Mac setup. I got that canvass tarp from Home depot there. As these materials are next to impossible to locate or create in Manila. Even dyes we will need from there.
The guys are slowly getting their Garands together. The WWII Military vehicle preservation society in Tarlac is slowly preparing for a bigger show on April 2011. As they are all gung ho about last April on Mt. Samat.

It would be great to stage a picture of scouts attacking the Japanese tank at Villa Escudero

From this year's Old Fort MacArthur Days! At the Philippine Scouts tent... shoulder arms! The Royal Navy contingent at OFMD 2010... God save the King! I was actually there with my fiancee Susan who went as Royal Marine in the spirit of Hannah Snell. She really enjoyed herself! I'm gonna try to get her to go as a Sanidad Militar or Josephine Bracken or something next year on one day. When you guys go as Philippine Revolutionary soldados so we can all maybe join up with the Spanish reenactors against Los Gringos. Would it be okay if I had an airsoft Mauser instead of a real one with blanks? Salutes, Tom

Har, har, har......aye, very handsome woman your Lady Susan. Indeed cunning of yer lordship to disguise her as a lobster lad aboard ship. ;D
Yes an airsoft mauser 98K will do, pero porque? We'll always be glad to lend you a spare rolling block or a Spanish mauser....anything for the Guardia Civil and the Sanidad Militar.
