It was very nice and I can't get over the ambience. The old planes parked outside, the live swing band, the women resplendent in their 1940's style hairs and clothes, the men in uniform... for a while it was possible to forget that it was 2010. I felt like I was in the movies. Before the last song of the night, they had a WW2 vet play the Taps with his trumpet, and all the men snapped a salute as the notes were played. Then the last song was a slow one and none other than the Moonlight Serenade. Nice. Camera phone photos don't do the event justice. Ran into Melody, our old friend from the 2007 Bataan camp. Posed here with the wife: (click for bigger) These ones were taken relatively early. Later on when it got dark, the floor was packed.

Great to see your wife's with you and enjoying it.
Did you and your wife managed to dance a lot?
