Here is my short slideshow presentation introducing our new reenactment company with the theme song everyone will remember. And our little tribute to the veterans who lived and made the ultimate sacrifice on those sacred grounds. click on HQ button to increase viewing size www.youtube.com/watch?v=HlTFlokTdm0 For Vimeo click the bottom right that shows the four corner pointed arrows to max the image on your screen vimeo.com/8844339The Fort McKinley PS Living History reenactment Company Manila was organized on Dec. 30, 2009 and was the 1st in the history of Fort Mckinley (home of the PS) and also on Jan. 2, 2010 the Island Fortress of Corregidor as the historical background setting. Also included a few shots of the Fort Stotsenburg ( home of the 26th PS Cav. and PS Artillery), Pampanga chapter taken on July 4 2009. Original words by Leonard Adelson, modified by Philip Garcia Music by Leonard Rosenman Proudly we bear the name of the Scout Infantry, Knowing we share the fame of the Army Infantry, Where-ever liberty's battle must be won, The Infantry has gone and so it shall go on. Where there's a job to be done is where we'll be, For we are the fighting men of the Scout Infantry. Follow me, left, right, Follow me, left, right, We'll go marching to hell and back if it has to be. Follow me, left, right, Follow me, left, right, We're the ever ready men of the Scout Infantry.

Good recruitment video scout trooper Philip. Lt. Hanley and Sgt. Saunders would agree.
I wonder though if the PS ever adopted a unique marching song as it's own? The PC has an official marching song, and so does the PA. It's inconceivable that such a tightly knit formation has no historical marching song. I think Rudy has a CD of PS marches.
Or is it that the PS was supposed to be just like any regular U.S. Army outfit stationed in the P.I., only "Caissons Go Rolling Along" and the unofficial "Planting Rice" tunes were available?

There has to be one, either they just used the US Army's songs. Maybe I should post this question in the PSHS forum. Might get a lead. I previously modified the lyrics from the "Old home Guard" marching song from Disney's Animated Musical Bedknobs and Broomsticks which John Patterson loved. And it does work. www.youtube.com/watch?v=pGTg4N251yM&feature=relatedThey’re sailing for the P. I. Oh! What a shame! Someone is after our island again We’ll let them have it… Oh, yes we will! But maybe they won’t want it when they get the bill! For we wrote the stories of the companies We know the glory of yesterday’s parades We’re celebrating yard by yard The soldiers of the Philippine Scouts! We Will! The soldiers of the Philippine Scouts! Call out the navy, call out the ranks Call out the army, call out the tanks. From the hills of Baguio call up the tribes And don’t forget the loyal Muslim scouts! But, who’s sticking in here? Who will defend every inch of island no matter what they send? Who’s standing firm in our own front yard? The soldiers of the Philippine Scouts That’s Who! The soldiers of the Philippine Scouts!
