I needed an M1 Garand to complete my PS Impression. I could have simply bought from Marushin an 8mm GBB but it is out of stock. So I built my own from an AGM M14 AEG plus old and discarded M1 garand metal parts. It was a trial in error approach because I don't have the exact dimensions of a real M1 garand. I also got the idea of converting a china made m14 AEG from another forum. I finally got some rough measurements of the gunstocks and handguard from a friend who owns a Marushin M1 garand GBB. I have to get another plastic gunstock after messing up the first one. In this beautiful country of ours, civilians are not allowed to own high Caliber rifles such as an M1 Garand or an M1903. So, if you cannot own one, build one!

Really nice one Ramon! Will need a few more of those for the Manila chapter. Much Better than no available airsoft and acquiring real ones. Specially for PS color guard duties. Philip

Awesome! clap clap clap... Where did you get the gas cylinder from? The good thing with that is a real bayonet will fit it How much are AGM M14's there in Manila? Did you buy it from Divisoria?

I got the gas cylinder from a gunsmith in Bacolod after rummaging thru his old discarded gun parts. Its an original gas cylinder part so a bayonet fits though not very snugly but something that can be easily remedied by filing the bayonet lug to fit. The M14 cost me less than 5T pesos.

Hi there Philip, how are you? I was just so lucky that a friend of mine from the US came bringing with him M1 Garand model guns with original leather scabbard and a 1911 Colt pistols with holster, also a model gun, you can cock and pull the trigger. He brought 5 pcs of them and 5 pcs for the garand. they were all taken by the jeepers. now were almost complete with our basic set uo for the PS uniform. They look so real because they got real wood stock and all metal, and they operate just like the real one. ;D
