Now this looks like a great time and the weather cooperated this year. Too bad I missed it.
Thanks for sharing those photos and video!

Thanks Joe. Next year is the 20th anniversary of the event. I wonder what they would do different to celebrate the occasion.
Here's a video clip of an educational demo to kids re: jumping out of an airplane. These were done by the 511th PIR reenactors.

Very nice pictures Victor, the Mrs. sure is pretty and BTW GREAT P.A. IMPRESSION! I think I'll get myself one of those Phil Army shoulder tabs, they really add a lot more smartness to the denim uniform. Sorry I didn't send the boots sooner. Welcome to the Commonwealth Army...... ;D

Thanks Ray. It was just easy to put the PA tab on to advertise what I was. I caught many people looking at it. I mean one guy even thought I was NVA and was just stretching it a bit for WW2. On the other hand, one guy who said he's from a historical society based in New York saw my uniform and tab and immediately requested a videotaped adhoc interview about the impression and the history behind it. Hopefully it would come out in some forum or blog or something. I did my solo "torch bearing" for the day. That photoshop job worked out great. My blue denim color matches everyone else's

Victor, Thanks for sharing so much information on Luzon and the Phillipine Scouts. This has really renewed my interest in improving my impression. Regards, Bill Burruss

Hi Bill, welcome to the forum! If you have any questions please ask away. It was a pleasure to meet and chat with you in Reading. Everyone, Bill was the only person in the crowd on Saturday night that had the Philippine Division patch. He also had a display tent with a map of Luzon in front. -victor
