I'm a newbie here. I was told about this forum by a good fella on another board. As you can see by my avatar I was a member of the 31st Infantry Regiment. Not in the Phillipines though, in Korea. I do know quite a bit about the history of the regiment, I'm a life member of the regimental association. This looks like an interesting and well run forum, I am looking forward to spending some time here.

Actually I've been trying to post the pictures at this same 31st infantry's website but the admin hasn't approved my forum membership yet. Thanks for the link, I didn't notice the newsletters before. -vic

There is a lot of history of the regiment in the Phillipines. Just go back in the newsletters. As I recall they do a complete history in installments. They are working on the Korean war now. There are also a lot of photos on the website.
