Picture of the guys saying goodluck and one of you walking the lonely road of a foriegn country. Do not spit out gum on the sidewalk. They whip you for that. Be safe Adios amigo!! Good luck Philip. Just got a chance now to check the forum. Am here in Manila now. Long haul of a flight from the east coast.
Do us proud over there.
Scott, our flight stopped by Guam. I thought about you.

Thank you guys,
I now prepare for my new assignment and post in the former British colony of Singapore to advise and represent the USAFFE Scouts. I will miss the creation and planning of the most important event of our chapter. But I will try and make it there with my comrades in arms in May. But will miss the reenacting events in California.
Once again it was fun and a great year for our group and I will be still visiting you guys here.
sincerely,
Philip

You'll be missed Philip, re-enacting in CA won't be the same. Be sure to visit Sentosa Island and see the museum where they have the wax figures of Gen. Percival with his staff portraying the surrender. Last time I was there I took a long cable car ride to get to the island.
Also, get in touch with the 5th Division IJA re-enactors. You can be their sole opponent ;D. Don't worry, I'll pop up there one day to help you out.

Don't forget to have one uniform set ready to ship to you just in case you can participate in any veteran commemoration days there in Singapore.

Well, of course you can try to buy everything from there all over again, just for the challenge he, he.
Just look at all these things:
a) one U.S. brodie helmet with appropriate chinstrap and rough anti-glare finish.
b) one khaki cotton long sleeved shirt. (with PS patch)
c) one OD wool long sleeved shirt. (with Phil Dept. patch)
d) Ammo belt, pistol belt, garrison belt with buckle
e) webbing, pistol holster, lanyard, canteen with cover.
f) M10 haversack with canvas extension, meat can with cover.
e) one pair canvas leggings.
f) one pair leather cavalry boots, one pair of EM ankle boots.
Forget the bayonet, there will be no Springfield M03s there.
The only things you can probably be sure to get in Singapore are:
1) white undershirt.
2) an airsoft Garand.
3) an airsoft Thompson.
4) airsoft M 1911 Cal. 45 pistol
