Hey all, i am new in this forum, but since over 20 years Collector an Reenactor .
Early WWII interests me for years. Its far away from the WWII Mainstream.
Its hard to find online informations about this time.
Most reenactor´s it does not interest ! Only a few know the different uniforms.
No Action, only, Basic Training, sweat and dirt , retreat and defeats. Pearl Harbor, Phillipines, Guam....
No medals, glorious triumphs and liberatet peoples.
here my first post.....

The Soldier wear
-the Parsons Field Jacket over the Wool Uniform.
The early versions of this Jacket has flaps on the pockets and no shoulder boards .
- The tie was removed ,the highest button is open.
- The Soldier carries the M1 Garand ( since 1938)
- On the head the M1917A1 Helmet. This is a 1938 modified WWI Helmet.
