Hello Victor Enjoyed your pics from Corregidor. You know that place is my specialty;I have been there 10 times in the last 3 years. My visits averaged 4 days at a time. I also took some pics in the museum and started an album just with the museum pics. But with the windows and lighting it is difficult.I down loaded your museum pics and a few others, especial the pic of you. You, living on the East Coast, I guess it will be the Philippine when we finally meet. Back to Corregidor, during my many visits I got to know many of the residents. Especially the people in the management level. Below are the URL or pics of some of them. Carlos Faces of Corregidor s74.photobucket.com/albums/i265/PI-Sailor/Corregidor%20by%20subject/CI%20Subalbum%20No%201/Faces%20of%20Corregidor/-'Bene' runs Corregidor on a daily bases, he is the boss on the scene,I consider him a friend. He caught up with me on that day at the Jap.Memorial Garden -The LtCol is the Excutice Officer of CFI-Corregidor Foundation Inc and works out of the National tourist Office in Manila. He visits once a week.He is sitting at the head of table with his staff in MacArthur Cafe. -Mrs Ambel runs the hotel, the Corregidor Inn; on that pic I was just delivering CDs for sale from 'corregidor.org'. -Josi runs MacArthur Cafe, where I eat my meals and socialize in the evening. -The pic on Battery Way Hill at a fire control station, this one was unique in that it didn't have any walk in opening; that's me by the way. I guess the crew rolled in over the wall before the roof collapsed. Hey note my bolo and that undergrowth. I added the two pics from Grande Island.

Ten times in three years, and an average of 4 days per visit. Wow... aren't you afraid of hauntings at night at the Corregidor Inn? ;D
How do you visit Corregidor from Subic? Do you drive to Mariveles and take a ferry from there, or is there a ferry straight from Subic?
Do you have any photos from Bataan?

Hello Victor Thanks for helping me out. Yes I have pictures from Bataan. Bataan,Zambales and Pampanga are my stumping grounds. I have walked from near Bagag to Mariveles several times. That means I walked passed the points were the Japanese landed. But it is absolutely amazing there are no relics left what ever. I have subscribed to Kodak sharing just a few days ago and slowly I will upload more and more pictures. I will include you but posting any here I think is not part of this forum. The people coming from the North, drive to Barangay Cabcaben and rent a boat there for between 1500 to 2000 Peso. The capacity is about 10 people; the boats wait for you and take you back in the afternoon. The boatride is between 20 to 30 minutes, but it can be rough waters.I use the boats of Carmen Resort and per cell phone I arrange my retour trip. Carlos
