Here is a Japanese released military art on newsprint paper depicting their army's battle in Bataan. I could only scan an 8.5x11 portion of it so it's cropped. It also has a caption and I'll type the translation provided by the Japanese ebay seller. I don't think this could be used as a uniform/equipment reference. The Japanese artist most likely was not a soldier in Bataan and took liberties with the details of the painting. The allied soldiers look like an amalgam of the different defenders.

My observations of this very interesting Japanese print. Great and dramatic hand to hand combat in the jungles!
The rifle the pith helmeted soldier who's about to swing on the Samurai yeilding Japanese looks like an Arisaka his holding. His wearing puttees too were not worn in Bataan. And the color of the trousers (not the color shade of khaki) and shirt looks like a light khaki remind me of the Japanese summer uniform colors. Same as the scout about to fire his rifle. And they have "leather " suspenders.
Thanks for showing Vic.

As translated by the seller:
Combat action at Nachibu Gen. MacArthur flew by airplane on Dec. 24, 1941. Manila fell on Jan. 2. Kanaya Unit attacked on Natibu Mountain from Jan 20, 1942. Many were killed after the heavy fighting. Moon light showing dead bodies after dead bodies. After Manila fell, the enemy escaped to Bataan peninsula.
