Hello friends, Does anyone have any information on the uniforms worn by the Spanish Red Cross in the Philippines, Cuba or Puerto Rico during the Spanish American War period? Any information, photos or leads would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! ¡Viva España! Bill PS, If you think this is an odd request, just wait until I ask about the Post Office uniforms

The post office uniforms are shown in a photo of a book I have in London. It's American and is of the "Spanish -American War" I'll ask my daughter to send the details OK? Try contacting Spanish Mil. Museum in Curuna? or contact Mil. Attache at Spanish Embassy/Consulate. Chap in London sent me a beautiful illustrated hardback book on the Spanish army in the Philippines, 1750's to the 1870's. Also sent me a photo of a fine painting of Gen. Blanco posing on a rock in the Spanish hills wearing blue tunic & red pants. Spain is a good source if you can speak Spanish. Alas I don't. Adios Amigo! David
