Priceless paperwork! The loyalty status must be because many of the former Filipino defenders of Bataan were coerced by the Japanese to serve in the new Japanese-led Philippine Constabulary. Many of them had a choice of staying and dying in Camp O'Donnell or joining the PC to get out.
While many did so and put up the illusion to the Japanese that they had switched allegiance to them (but secretly helped the resistance), a few actually did take the new job seriously and so were branded traitors after the war.

Thanks Victor:
Seems it only gets better. Now if I can only get my cousins to reply from the PI's and let me know what is in that army trunk.
I know they have his bronze star award which was issued after the war. But a picture of my uncle on a horse that is my dream.

Hey Folks: It has been awhile sharing with you. Attached is a photo of a parade 2 years ago someone just sent me today. I like it because we were trotting. I am riding my old horse's daughter "Lupin". The other's are photo's that made my local paper. My jeep won first place in classic's for the Fourth of July Parade and I had the Mayor with family on board. Rudy/26thCav

Morning Victor:
No the jeep was this year and almost looks the same from a few years back. This year I loaded it with lots of flags from the dollar store.
