I was at a gunsmiths house today and he has a couple of rifles, I thought I would let you all know about them.
They are actually Enfield Pattern 1914 (P-14) rifles that were originally in .303, but externally are the same as the US Model of 1917.
These have been demilitarized by blocking the chamber with a welded metal rod, so they cannot be made to fire, nor can ammunition be chambered in them. Would be good for people who don't want a functioning rifle at home, or for those places which frown upon functional weapons when reenacting.
If anyone wants more information, you can send me a private message.

Thanks for the tip. At some point I'll need one of these for the eventual Philippine Commonwealth Army impression I will put together.
