this time is a Philippine Constabulary hat of a former captain. Khaki with gold and blue stripes. Synthetic leather brim and belt on the front. Brass commonwealth seal buttons (17mm x 17mm) on each end. Brass commonwealth eagle seal on the top front of the cap (62mm x 57mm). Has Brias Roxas hallmark and large patch inside of the hat. Black pen scribbled Capt. T. G. Rom on the inner front. It sold for $177.50 on ebay, item was in Manila, priceless item.

Nice... one of the museums in Manila could have benefited from it. I wonder where in Manila we could find items like this... There is a shop in the Shangrila mall where they sell a lot of antiques, old paperwork, magazines, documents, postcards, etc. The only militaria item I found was a rare black colored (I forget the material) US army canteen. I didn't know much about it at that time but it was only later that I found out that it was a rare item.
