I forgot to bid on this on ebay. I wanted to win it to read the content, but mostly to save the artifact and maybe research the owner, or donate to the Philippine Scout Heritage Society. Too bad. I hope the winner takes good care of it or uses it for a good cause. Here's the description: This is a pocket size Field Diary for a 2nd Lt of the US Army serving as a Philippine Scout in 1913, in Manila. This gives the names of all the men under his control and their mos and ranks...book also has roll call for entire 9th Co PS USA. Covers Jan 1913 - March 1913. Also has entry for activity of May 8 1916. In the Diary are notes on how many paces the tent is to be located. ie: Cook tent 20 paces from center pole of 1st tent. Officers 40 paces from front of cooks tent..etc etc... for the Army historian this may have some good reading...not all pages are filled in the hardback pocket sized book
