Just posting some new acrylic paintings by artist, Francisco Verano. One of them is posted on top this week. These ones are more on the impressionist side, rather than the "detailed illustration" type.

The squad with the BAR and Thompson is my favorite. My suggestion is bring them to the reunion for display and for bidding. It would be nice to have it framed first?

Victor
That is a great idea from Philip. Great presentation and if lucky will sell also. Family members might buy.
Have your dad do some 26th

Here's another new one: Rudy, yes he said he'll do a 26th one. I'm thinking if we have enough color-matched professional prints made, we could actually have many copies to sell for my dad for about $10 each. Then it's cheap enough and everyone can afford one. Instead of just a few high bidders winning a few paintings. Many of the 3rd and 4th generation family members who attend the reunion (in their teens and 20's) could afford them to put in their rooms or office/cubicles. Just a thought. I'll ask Cion Rael if I could sell prints like how Art sold the PS hats and pins at the last reunion.

Hi Vic
I like the last one with the guy looking out in background. Your dad is great.
If anything putting them up for display would be great also.
Can not wait to see the cav one. Boots and Saddles boys

VICTOR - These paintings need to be reproduced, numbered, signed, and offered for sale. These are equal in quality to the National Guard's art work. The Philippine Scout materials I see selling on eBay indicate the reproductions would be a good fund raiser. -Sue (http://www.militaryconnections.com/nationalguardprints.cfm - These are free, yet they are sold on eBay.)

Thank you for the positive feedback Sue. We might just do something like that. I hope to see you at the reunion. Meanwhile here's a reworked version of the painting above. "The Men Who Stood Up to the Rising Sun"
