It looks like a very beautifully presented book. I will request a copy first from Barnes And noble book store here to review the contents and if it has a lot of never before seen photos hopefully to make sure before I make a decision if it is worth it or not.

Got the book. I haven't read all the text yet but it has good information. There are plenty of pictures and maps taken from US Army archives, personal collections of veterans, the Phil-American collection from Ateneo de Manila University, and from the Japanese propaganda book printed in 1943 (This one)

It's a good book to add to your collection if you're a Philippine history/WW2 buff. Its chapters cover the Spanish era to present day Corregidor.

I just ordered one from Barnes and noble last weekend. Can't wait to review it. From the pics you posted it realy looks like a very well made book.
