I don't know this community so I will introduce myself. My name is Chris Belmonte, and I have a strong interesting in Filipino history. I have family history with Filipino friends (I'm not Filipino myself). Anyway, There is a new computer game available called "Hearts of Iron IV." Pretty much any nation can be played as. It's a grand strategy game. I plan on making my own mod for the Philippines, but as it is, you can play as the Philippines starting in either 1936 or 1939. This game involves economics (to a limited extent), building factories, manufacturing arms, technological advances, and of course, warfare on a grand scale. They update the game with expansions 2-3 times per year. It can be a bit expensive but thankfully heavy discounts happen from time to time. www.youtube.com/watch?v=1StTR4KGdbsThe first expansion was released several days ago, so this review is outdated. Keep in mind they also continually make improvements and balance fixes and optimizations via update. I just thought it might be of interest to fellow WWII enthusiasts and in particular, Filipino contribution to the War, which is pretty much unheard of in video games. But this game has it! If anyone wants to discuss history with me or perhaps play games online, my contact info is here: Skype: bigjackskid Discord: moonbat#1226 Steam: steamcommunity.com/id/princeofjudah
