Recently came to acquire this uniform. Still trying to figure out how to display it and is currently just hanging temporarily. Capt. Eulalio Arzaga’s (26th Cav) daughter saw it in an army/navy store in Killeen, TX. She emailed me and asked if I was interested in it. She then bought and mailed it to me. Thanks Lilly! Based on insignias and ribbons, the veteran who owned this may have been a member of the 192nd or 194th Tank Battalion because of the armor collar disk. It has 7 overseas stripes (3.5 years) which is common to Americans who arrived before the war and came back the US more than 3 years later. It has the bronze star, purple heart, good conduct, Pacific campaign, Philippine defense, WW2 Victory, etc. Honorable discharge patch on right chest. It looks like he mustered our after returning to the US and was never re-assigned to any other unit.

I wrote to Zenion for some time back in the days when I was writing my articles. Can't tell, does it show the Armored branch anywhere on the uniform? You're getting quite a collection, there? Your wife isn't making you sleep down there, is she??

Yes, the round collar disk. You can faintly see the outline of a WWI tank on it.
