Interested in material that warrants at least the Distinguished Unit Citation (Presidential Unit Citation to the 61st Field Artillery Regiment. (PA)
Department of the Army Pamphletm 672-1 does not list unit.

Hi: If you read the following it might make sense why no citation. It takes just like mentioned to earn it. The following info shows they had nothing prior to the war and only had 3 casualties per other article. Hope this helps.
