Just browsing the web and found these monuments in Bataan Commemorates the battle at Layac Junction (Dinalupihan), the entrance to Bataan A memorial behind the Balanga Elementary School. I think this is the general spot where the Bataan surrender was negotiated.

Very interesting monument for the surrender by American Commanders. If I remenber from photos the surrender meeting was held indoors wasnt it? it's a shame the original house is not there anymore. The other monument the Philippine soldiers' helmets remind me of the Japanese style!

Well I don't know if they erected the monument on the exact spot. The house could be one of those school houses, who knows. It was probably in the vicinity of the school premises. I need to find out more.

I found the surrender negotiations photo of US commander Major Gen. Edward P King and his officers were this monument was based upon. It was done outdoors.

It's supposed to be besides a huge century old mango tree, and that tree is supposed to be there still. Maybe it's that tree in the background over on the right.
