And?
The brave soldier's that fought for the Philippines would love your support when they had no time for holy week.
My opinion only.
This is a once in a life time reunion and I think Jesus will for give all for this.

Gen. Homma had selected to open the offensive at Mt. Samat on April 3, 1942 (Friday). It was a very important day for the Christian defenders of Bataan - the devout observed the anniversary of the Crucifixion with prayers and fasting...............
Pero matagal ng gutom ang mga defenders ng Bataan bago pa man dumating ang Holy Week ng 1942. Saludo tayo para sa mga Bataan Defenders !

Philip, would you be able to post the screenshots of the registration forms? It's good to have it online somewhere. I can't get in touch with Christa to update the PSHS website.
Thanks. Otherwise I'll try to do it later when I get the chance.

Jesus can hear your prayers where ever you may be, even from Ft. Stotsenburg. It so happens that my aswa's family visit the cemetery on the Friday or Monday to avoid all the crowds and the mighty log-jam of cars on the week-end. I am in the happy position that our cemetery is just 10 miles from Clark and the re-enactment event that I shall taking part in, is not until the afternoon anyway. I may have a new recruit for the Japanese company. A nieghbour who has Japanese ancestors.

Hi guys!
I hope you are all excited to finally do the big reenactment on April 8.
I am putting up this thread to be the message post for reenactors taking part in the April 8 reenactment.
We have decided to increase the amount of squibbs and explosions (at great expense) to increase the impact of our performance. We are also planning to use a professional outdoor PA system so we can finally hear the voice over.
Now, we know that all of us have very little time for practice so i am asking everyone attending to PLEASE BE AT THE PARADE GROUND BY 12noon (if possible earlier) for practice and safety briefing with the jeepers, pyro guys and me. This will be the only time we will be able to run through so i respectfully ask that you all come on time. This will give us approximately 3 hours to get EVERYTHING right.
There will be a dedication ceremony at the clark cemetery that will also be on the 8th so if you like, we can all meet there.
We are awaiting a new delivery from toyman of dummy arisaka rifles. Those who can paint them, please let me know so i can distribute before the final date.
For once (and this is really weird) we seem to have a dearth of standard weapons (garands and springfields aon the allied side). I am begging those of you who have garands to please bring them. We have precious few of them so every garand will help a great deal to make this re-enactment more realistic and accurate. Those who will not be able to make it...I am also humbly begging if you can lend your garands. These will only be lent to people who are capable of caring for them...or better yet, define who gets to use them.
Please do check this thread from time to time for more up to date inteligence!
Thanks!
Albert
