The Dead Soldier's Society/ Buhay na Kasaysayan groups were invited to act as color guard in the Film Academy of the Philippines and Italian Embassy's culminating dinner after their filmfest held in Makati. The Old Manila ambience of Casa Roces was perfect for our Commonwealth era uniforms. I guess the best compliment we had was when the Italian guests were being welcomed by the host who said, "Welcome to the past".

Here we are doing the color guard as the guests walked in. Not everybody could keep his eyes straight forward, though.
