You should go as our PS LA Chapter representative. That's the only Philippine Bataan event in your area and you should get in touch with them. At least they have a very presentable monument in a nice park there, compared to the one we have in Filipino Town LA. Philip

I can't. It's my kid's birthday. We have a birthday party.
I passed on the info to the Dizons in case they can participate.

Hello All: All in favor of Victor taking all the kids and family to Baatan day write a reply. Come on Vic take the kids and get them involved early. Before you know it they will expect it to be part of family planning. Just like my daughter for this parade I do. 18 years she has been doing it since birth. She was 4 months old on her first one. She is only 3 or 4 in this picture Take care all Rudy/26cav

Great photo! You sure started her out young. Take a picture of the two of you in May this year. Sort of a Then and Now picture Yeah no... there won't be any cavalry in this bday party... there will be princesses and hello kitty. Not to worry... she's getting her "indoctrination" somehow. Every once in a while when my daughter's being silly to daddy... she'd salute me and say "Pilipina ako.... carry on". (I'm a Filipina... carry on). I didn't teach her that... it floored me the first time she did it. And sometimes she makes me "machineguns" out of legos. I didn't teach her that either...(shrug).

Start getting your daughter into gear as a candidate for a Bataan Nurse. She will need the overalls, gas mask bag, red cross arm band and kelly helmet. ;D
