Hey guys, I've replied to the thread listing us as POTY. Here is my reply: Thanks folks, It's a great honor for our group which is basically just a year old and is still in its humble beginnings to receive recognition such as this. We really appreciate the constructive criticism as we are still learning the ropes and we've got lots to learn. Reenactment is virtually unknown in our country and our little group of hobbyists, collectors and airsofters hope to achieve the level of authenticity and performance that the many groups in this forum have achieved. We spent last year providing honors for veterans returning to the hallowed battle grounds of bataan and corregidor. Just last month we welcomed a 95 year old captain of the 26th cavalry regiment (philippine scouts) who arrived from the US to commemorate the bombing of clark field on December 8 1941. the expression on his face as we welcomed him in his unit's old uniform and at his old home base reminded us of why we took up this hobby. His unit took part in one of the last cavalry charges in history in 1942. We share this achievement with those vets. Thanks so much! Albert Labrador The guys in the shot are members of the Philippine Scouts Heritage Society (Fort Mc Kinley Chapter) and the B.N.K. Buhay na Kasaysayan (Living History)
