These are much clearer film footage than what I have. Will need these ones for my documentary project. Thanks for posting these ;D Vic.

Two things struck my eye in the seversky clip. That compound looks mighty familiar. There's one that looks exactly like that along roxas blvd near the old hyatt. Also, first time i've seen those light blue dungarees in color. great find!

Just incredible to see and imagine if yu were there to experience those colored B-17 footage, that must be on Iba, Zambalez. Those colored clips sure makes a huge difference! That rare footage of a P-26 taking off was amazing to see in real color. Now how come that fake colorized "WWII in color" or that "WWII lost films" series never got to show these? Those are the same airfield scenes of the color photos of the "P.I. in color" I posted a while back. www.pinoyhistory.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=photos&action=display&thread=884Thanks Ray for posting these! I tried to download them but it is blocked! Even the stills are all watermarked all over. Philip

You could spend hours and hours watching these videos... truly a window to the past! (especially the color ones)

Just fantastic!! I recognized two 17th P.S. pilots, John Brownewell and George Armstrong. Brownewell was evacuated, I believe from Mindanao and Armstrong spent the war as a guest of the Emperor, after narrowly missing the last sub or plane out from Corregidor. I wrote to both gentlemen when I was doing research in the early to mifd-1980s. Several of the other 17th P.S. pilots lok familar, but I'd have to look them up. I know the checkered 17th ballcaps caused some controversey among "command" personnel!
