Drums of Rev. & PHIL/AM War

???Drums of the Revolution/AM War. Are there any drums that survived the 1896-1904 period? What decoration would they have had? The Spanish & American drums would have been painted with the regt's colours and crest emblem. It would be interesting to know the most common size adopted also. If any have survived, I'm sure they are to be found in some American museum. The other possibility is they just pined a Phil flag around a drum taken from the municipal band? Anyone know? ---David
